98 es300 vs. 07 civic si
#7
I would think the Civic would win hands down, being the lighter and more powerful car. IIRC, the Si hits 60 around 7.2s and 1/4 in 15.1s. The ES300 is about a full second more for both. Obviously what happens is dependent on the drivers. Good luck, and keep it off the streets!

lol i'm saying the oppisite but don't quote me. Go for a highway run he is much lighter than you the only way you can beat him is in distance. Its gonna be just like the 00es vs Scion Tc race. I wouldn't put money down but you should have a good chance just keep it safe.

compair the time to velocity, time to distance, and top speed.
stupid post, just like the scion post. The ES is signifigantly slower...
In retropsect to the civic, the ES also has a signifigantly lower top speed to boot.

It was me in the scion race, why was it stupid? I beat him 2/3 times. The only race he won was the one from a red light, I won the roll and the long distance fwy race...

No I'm not saying its stupid to race him. I'm saying the scion is not as fast as the honda. All I'm saying is that its stupid to just do a drag race you neeed a fwy and rolling race for the es to possibly win

you beat a very poor driver lol you'd never beat a bone stock N/A tc with anyone that could launch & shift.
there's no excuse for a stock tc to not have atleast 4 leingths on you down a 1/4 mile drag. in the case of a tc, they'd outrun you till you hit about 130, then you'd reel them back in & overtake b/c of their low limited top speed.
the civic si would be a rediculous race. they're low 15 second cars stock with mediocure drivers, real drivers put them into high 14's, and they can do > 140mph while ES's are low 16 second cars & can't run 140 stock.
that would be a dumb race to put money on the ES.
