I got a 92 ES and I was wondering if its possible to replace the key remote with the 02-03 ES key remote?

No, because the 92 model year ES came with two remotes that are linked to a chip inside the trunk that can only work with the original two remotes that came with the car. In order to get a new remote for your 92 you would have to replace the remotes as well as the chip inside the trunk which is I think $350 plus dealer installation. The 02-03 has a totally different system using a ECU instead of a small chip in the trunk. Plus I think the key blades for the two different models are two different sizes.
