Default Can anybody identify this bulb??? Pic

*Mods, sorry for the double post*

Went to install a DE3175 (sylvania web info) compatible LED in my maplight today and found something else in the housing. The only thing on it was TS 578? It looks like a fuse. Can help me out?

Looks similar to the bulbs that are in the vanity lights.

What you need are festoon type bulbs. I believe that is a 31mm. There are a few different examples here if you are looking for LEDs. http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm

...found out the bulb number for that light. Although no surprise to me my local dealer had NOO idea, they said they could give me the part no. Well that's great guys and doesn't do ****** for me. So many times they have failed to offer even the slightest amount of information.

Anyway, the bulb for the 2001 ES maplight is 211-2. I double checked all of my sources like the sylvania website, they say DE3175, checked the guide at the local auto store, it also said DE3175. What's up with that? it is definitely a different bulb by comparison. Maybe it is quoting US spec models? who knows? if anybody can tell me whether there US spec '01 ES is different I'll send an email off to Sylvania and tell them they're info is wrong!

Off to order some more LEDs now, will post pics of the LED's in soon, all i can say is they look awesome!!!!!!!!!!! love them.

Sounds to me like maybe the 211-2 number is a "Lexus" part number, and the DE3175 is more like a generic bulb type part number.

well what i found was that the "211-2" or "211" is the generic bulb number/type. NAPA knew it right away and after i visited Canadian Tire and checked the bulb, it was the 211. I think GE makes the 211, whereas Sylvania might make the DE3175. Still, different bulbs mind you, so be careful if anybody is changing out the Maplight to LED. It is NOT DE3175!

Just FYI 3175 is a 31mm and 212 is a 44mm bulb. The earlier generation ES used 3175 which is probably why the sylvania site had that one listed. I'm sure they just figured it stayed the same for all generations instead of actually researching if the bulb had changed.
