i got a 1995 300 es lexus is there a stock amp?and if there is where is it at? i just installed a aftermarket and it cuts out after putting high volume

this is my problem ok? im gonna get a new cd player the one i got has 2 blown av adapters out of 2 so i only got one sub and front speakers going but even when i had just the speakers going.... it would cut out after i turned it up after 22 or so out of lik 30 or somting? it would lik cut out and cut back in like cd is skipping but even with radio on....
plz help neone?

im not sure but it sounds like it could have been too much power to go through the stock amp's circuit... the stock amp is little rectangle metal black box under the passenger seat. just take it out and bypass the wiring if you can. I trashed mine when i put in my system.

check if the protection light is coming on in the aftermarket amp because it may not be enough wattage.

does any1 know how many watts does my stock amp put out on my '01? currently i have it running with my alpine cda-9835, i wanted to know if the stock amp has more output or less then my cd player?
