They were pretty cheap. I paid $1800 for them new (18" rims & tires).

Tell us all the details about your 92 ES. Please get all the mechanical problems fixed before all the audio stuff, you probably by now have leaking valve covers, leaking valve stem seals, leaking PS pump and possibly the PS rack as well, Motor mounts as well the top one and the front one. Please tell us all the stuff
My valve cover gaskets are leaking, one CV boot is torn, and the motor mounts on one side need to be replaced too. My dad used to be a mechanic so he'll take care of that stuff while the car is parked and torn apart for the stereo install. We'll have to take a closer look at the PS pump and rack, I'm lucky to have an almost free mechanic, it's saved me alot of money.

My car is stock, I'm not really planning on anything other than the audio, but maybe if the government is real nice to me come tax time I'll think about some new rims.

Thanks for the tips.

For the rims AND tires, thats not bad.. Did you order through a catalog, or are they store bought??

I have a couple of friends that own custom shops here in SC, so I buy most of my products from them at cost. I'm not sure if you can get them for the same price, but if not, it shouldn't be too much more.

I'm almost sure no one makes a wiring harness for our cars. I guess we're just stuck splicing.

Splicing.....What??? That's crazy. There is a kit for the ES. Mine was a "shelf item" almost 2 years ago. Here is some info that may help you:

Wiring harness: Metra, part# 70-8112
Dash Kit: Metra, part# 98/8150
