Default My System, What's in Your ES??

This is a list of stuff in My 93 ES, I will post Pic's as soon as
the install is finished.. (doing it myself)

Panasonic DF-88 Head Unit
JBL BP-600.1 Sub Amp, class D
2 -12" Vegas Vegas, These subs need a big big box.
JBL P-80, this is pushing my front door speakers, soon
I will replace the front speakers, not sure what kind.
All the cable is brodcast quality Belden (Digital) cable.
4 AWG power straight to the JBL BP-600.1

There is also a 5" TFT screen connected to a VCR.

Where did you mount the tv?? I bought 4 and am going to install in the sun visors and the back headrests. I thought about where the ashtray is, but because of the shifter decided not to..

The 5" screen is mounted under the deck,

You have the A\C unit, under that is the Panasonic deck,
custom mounted flush, and tight under the A\C unit, under (looks good) then is the 5" TFT is under the deck, I had to remove the cup holder, for a half of inch needed. I am making a custom
face cover to hide around the deck and monitor. This is the hard
part.

What kind of screens did you get and how much??

ohh ok.. As for the sound, I have 4 Jl Audio w-6's powered by 2 Power Acoustik 2200's for bass. Each front door has Jl Audio 6 1/2's and Jl Audio 6x9's in the back deck all powered by a power acoustik 1000.. Sounds pretty good though.. Ohh yeah I left the tweets stock for now... Once I get my digi cam I will post pics..

- I want to redo my setup in the trunk.. Add some neons and all, just need to find some time..

Post Sound

My sounds system isn't that great, but it'll do for now.

two 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch HE subs powered by a Sony explode amp
2 8-gauge wires powering the amp
10 disc sony mobile disc changer
replaced my 6x9 speakers with Bostwicks
same for my 5.5" door speakers
4 tweeters in the front

soon to buy an amp to power my new stereo speakers. The pioneers only were 8 watts for the doors and 15 watts for the 6x9s. now, my bostwicks are 100W for the doors and 130W for the 6x9. I need a new amp to push the speakers more, they hardly move

E-GAINER

I was looking to buy a system for my car also. The 2 Fosgates subs are hooked up to xplod amp right. Did you replace the factory amp with the sony or do you have a different kind of setup. Do you also have it hooked up to your factory deck?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW I AM VERY INTERESTED IN YOUR SETUP AND IT SOUNDS NICE.

I AM 17 YRS OLD. TOO AND I HAVE A 1992 LEXUS ES300.

mrand01, how did you change all the lights? Even the dash?? Are ya needles still orange?? I cant seem to find any colored lights around anywhere.. I do have 3 blacklights installed though, 2 under front dash<pass, and driver> and one longer one in the top of my back window where the window meets the headliner...

my amp is only powering my subs right now. you shouldn't hook an amp up to your speakers and your subs. i am getting a new amp soon, which will only be powering my speakers. getting the car respeakered, with labor, was $300. If you can get a different amp, i would recommend it. The only reason I have the stuff I have is because i got them from a friend for a great deal. the amp is new, but the equipment is not what i would have chosen. if you want to, get some audiobahns, they are expensive, and require a special amp. but they sound good. or if you do get rockfords, see about getting a bostwick amp.

I ripped out all of the factory stuff. I installed a simple system consisting of JL Audio 6 1/2" mid w/tweeter component set in the front doors, while adding more JL's in the rear dash. For the lower beats, I added (3) JL Audio 8w-o's in the trunk. Amplifier power is provided by Crossfire amplifiers. Up front, the system is controlled by a Sony CDX-M600 disc "flip-down" CD player. Sorry, no TV's.
