Original engine and tranny and both do not leak. She does burn a little oil. I replaced the radiator, motor mounts and kept up with the maintenance. I do have to replace the power steering pump and hose. Other than that she's been real good to me...

^ The 740iL wasn't too bad for us. We had a '98 model with only around 50K miles when we sold it earlier this year. The only major items needed to be changed were the battery and cruise control computer. Other than that the car drives like a dream and still looks good amongst most of the current cars on the road. I'd get the '00-'01 740 with the updated headlights and tailights.

Anyway back on topic with the mileage thread

Sorry to jump off topic agian but thats low miles for that year so it would need little work. We had a 97 740i that we sold early this summer at the dealership and whenever we had to work on that or any bmw we had to get special tools from them to do it and it was just overall had to work on.

Trex---That is amazing!!
Think a Ford Focus would get that?
I've got a '98 with 74,000. Yep -- everything is original.

So better than the GS? cause I may want to add a GS in the coming months, I'm hearing a few negative things..
