Question Power Window Issues

Guys-

New member here and I thought I'd check with you guys first.

I own a '93 ES300. Over the past few months, the front passenger window has been slow to roll up. No issues going down, but getting the window up, it's been pretty slow.

Well, a couple of weeks ago, I rolled it down and it almost decided not to go up. Not wanting to push my luck, I've left the window up. Well, it was beautiful yesterday and a buddy of mine rolled down the window and now it won't go up.

I did a search throughout this forum and have read several similar issues and similar solutions. Ranging from WD-40 to using a paint stick to lift the window.

My question: what's the best way to manually raise the window? Is there a crank or spot on the window motor to insert a screwdriver to crank up the window or what? It's not at all important that I be able to lower the window again, so I don't mind raising the window and have it locked in place. But what's the best method to get that sucker up.

I know how to take the door panel off and but after that, I'm going to need some advice.

Thanks in advance.

Update:

Well, I got it fixed...sort of.

After taking apart the door I confirmed the motor was burned out. I talked to a friendly neighborhood fix-it shop who offered to help me fix it if I brought the car in. We disassembled the window motor, releasing the locked gears and were able to raise the window. We then reassembled the motor, thusly locking the window in place. We left the window disconnected to the door to it won't roll down anymore. All in all, it cost me a couple of hours and $50 in labor time at the shop, but at least now the window is back up.
