sounds like the tranny maybe the pump behind the converter

hmm is there a way to check or test that pump if it isnt working?

not somthing that you can check acuratly without the pressure guages... the pump is behind the torque convertor so the trans has to be removed to replace it anyways... are you planing on doing the work yourself or a tranny shop? used or rebuilt trans...

I just gave this same answer in another thread but if you haven't figured it out yet try changing the fuel filter.
