You can heat the area and floss the badge to work it loose, but you will have two small rectangle indentations to contend with once you're done. You'll also likely have some residual glue that has not yet been intimidated by Goo Gone on mine. I'm still not sure how noticeable mine are or what I'm going to do about them.

I am not sure that your badges are the same as my year model, but all I did was use my finger tips to pull the emblems off of my taillights. They came off rather easily. Clean up was a snap too. Looks clean and clear.

Find yourself some 92-94 Windom tails. They are shorter in length like the 95-96 ES tails, but look like the 92-94 tails (top and bottom recessed, middle raised up) and best of all NO emblem. ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I'll take some pics of mine tonight when it gets a little darker so you can see how they look. Makes the rear end sooo much cleaner with just the L and Lexus on the trunk lid!

you can use 3M adhesive remover, some fishing line or floss, and a hairdryer to get the badges off cleanly. then just clean the area.
*WARNING* you have a 92 ES. thats is 15 years old now. this means your paint might be faded if you haven't taken extremely good care of the car. the paint unders the badges may not match the color of the already exposed paint. the good news is you can debadge, and if it looks bad, you can use 3M double sided adhesive tape to rebadge the car.

Thanks bro. Found em on ebay a while back for under $40 if you can believe it!
The rims are from a 06' Toyota Avalon Limited. Polished w/ gunmetal between the spokes. They go really well with the 2-tone paint and make the car look so much newer. Whenever I paint the car one solid color I will probably get rid of em, but for now I am happy.

This thing is black and beautiful. It looks to be in awesome shape and only has 150k on the clock, with a clean CarFax, etc. I hope I'm not let down once I get over there and see it in person; it is not exactly a short drive to go see it.
About these 92-94 Windom tails: you've officially got me on the hunt for some of these now. I've got a search running on eBay. If anyone on here has had luck getting JDM stuff from some place other than eBay (*cough* like Vin_78 *cough*) please chime in here.
I'm pretty sure, and hopeful, that we scared the OP away from popping the badges off of the 92-96 tails, so Snicksnug's probably going to be looking for these too.
