I think the best chance we have is to have a custom kit done...

yeah ive played around with all the options and finally decided to get it custom done....see other post.

Its cheaper in the long run and lets you get exactly what you want. I know someone who has the dianna kit, he has a black es300 with custon HKS turbo done by UPRD (under pressure research and development in california), NOS, and the diana kit. I will post pictures later. The entire car is jet black and hes a member of FF->R fast forward racing based out of gardenia

He paide 2,700 for the kit shipped to the US. However the kit is now discontiued.

I paid alot less for the custom work.

You mentioned a shop that would do custom, figured if you lived in NC it must be there too. I also live in NC, where in North Carolina is this place?

Default NC custom shops?

I live in Raleigh... so that puts me an hour or two away from you, EGainer? If you ever get that custom work done, let me know how good a job they did.

nooooooo the guy with the black es300 with the japan diana kit has blacked out tails....

NYC in terms of the kit you can use any kit from any car roughly the same size as the lexus...examples include the accord and the camry, solara etc. After that its straght body work to get it to fit. Slicing the bumper here shaving there molding everywhere and creating brackets etc. There is no way to get anything to fit exactly unless it is made for the car...

and with that point even the japan kits do not bolt up perfectly. They have different bolt mounting points and usually after the trip get a little warped. It still requires modification to fit onto our vehicle. So either way custom or japan kit you are looking at alot of the costs being held on the bodywork side.
