I wish I had vvt-i but its not worth the money for 15hp.

One interesting thing is that the i (vvt-i) stands for interference which means that if the timing belt breaks, your engine is toast. The Non-interference engines just stop running until you replace the timing belt...

All (makes and models) motors are toast until you replace the broken belt.
