emergency break light??
I have a 96' ES300, from time to time my emergency break light would come on for a couple of seconds for no reason while driving. What do you think this could be?? faulty signal, brake failure?? anyone experienced this one

hMm... I've been driving my '96 for awhile without any problems with the emergency light... Maybe it has something to do with your remote start? I'm not all brilliant in the remote start area, but I know my cousin's remote start is connected with his alarm system which also controls the lights... Just a hypothesis. Good luck with it.

No... bubbles in the brake lines will not be indicated by the light. Of course you could tell when you have air in the system yourself... Most likely, it will be the brake cylinder CAP sensor if you checked everywhere (pads, ebrake not pulled up, fluids is at proper level) and found nothing. Make sure to check the cap sensor. OR, it could also be that big cylinder (that big black round metal thing behind the fluid cylinder) that controls the rears, but I doubt it. That one can be checked when you use your brakes and they are not working as good. And after you bleed them, and still your brakes are bad, that you know is the big metal piece that's not functioning. (It could also be the one that controls the front too) I know it sounds weird, but that's the 2nd time I heard of that kind of brake issue with the metal thing. Those are only the REALLY serious and expensive part of brakes breaking down.

hey did you have your brake fluid flushed/changed?? i took it to Toyota and they told me it might be clogged up or some. Unfortunately i had to wait 90min before they can see me, so i am going back another day

^I had the same problem and it would randomly turn on most of the time when I hit a bump. It went away when I put all new brakes on and flushed the system because it needed a caliper (at $75 dealer cost )
