Indicator on dashboard

Hi, an indicator on my ES300(1998) shows failure in rear lights. But they actually work well. Does anyone know what happens? Thx.

^ First off welcome to CL and about the indicator lights mine did that once and it went away is yours always on or is it intermittent.
