Default resonator

sorry for the spelling not sure if spelled correctly, but i was wondering if it is possible to remove the resonator on a 94 es300, and if so, has anyone done it yet and if so how?

The resonator for the exhaust or your intake box? The one for your intake box is located in the front drivers side of the bumper. You won't get any performance gains out of it. Perhaps a few ounces of weight reduction...but nothing in terms of HP.

If you take out your resonator, you'll get more noise, less low-end torque, and more HP at higher RPMs if coupled with a less restrictive air filter (K&N).
I'm with flipside909...I wouldn't bother.

If you want to make your car louder, easiest way would be to take out the air intake resonator and keep the stock paper air filter.
I'm not sure why you'd want to make an ES loud though. An Accord or Civic is one thing, but an ES that was loud would just make me think there was something wrong with it.
