can i fit 18's with 235/40/18 tire size without rubbing.

i already ordered the tires, cuz i figured it would be ok.

now i been told otherwise. can somebody let me know. thanks:

First off welcome to CL and second 235/40/18's might be too wide by a little depending on the offset of your rims. I have 225/40/18's and its a tight fit. What kind of rims are you putting on and some pics are always nice.

They will rub when you make a U turn... or turn the wheel all the way.

so at 225 your tires don't rub at all.not even u-turns or turning wheel all the way?

if so i might change to 225.

Need the offset as well. About the rubbing no I don't rub only on some bumps sometimes. Also I have very wide rims and spacers but there are lots of guys here that have 225/40/18's and don't rub.
