Hi everyone. I recently purchased an '04 ES330 with 67k miles. I love the car but it has a few small issues. I'm not going to mention the other issues since they are not the focus of this thread. But after a day of driving, the auto-leveling problem light came on and started to blink for a small duration of time. As each day passed after that, the indicator light started coming on more and more often blinking as it did the first day. It is practically at the point now where it is blinking constantly as I drive which is very annoying.
I noticed that there was a parking light out on the front of the car and I thought that might have somehow triggered the indicator since it was a part of the headlight. After removing the bumper today and fixing the faulty bulb, I thought it was a chance that my problems were solved. Wrong! The dumb light still blinks. ![Mad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
I don't understand what's wrong.
The auto-leveling seems to work as the headlights level themselves after I turn the key in the ignition, going down and then moving up. The manual says take the car to the Lexus dealership but I am obviously trying to see if I can fix it myself and avoid the charges if it is just a small issue.
The car is not lowered. Thanks for reading and for any replies.

If you go to the dealer, they might say -replace it- ...$1000 down the drain..
But see if you can find some pdf copies of the lexus service manual for the es on the internet. just do a google search 'Lexus es300 factory service manual' and i think the us lexus owners club site will show up directly to a pdf file for the service manual. Then, you can look up the auto leveling feature.
I have the 94-96 manual, and it has saved me a ton of $$ fixing little random stuff.

Anything is possible but no one has been able to duplicate the auto-leveling feature. I know because I retroed my last car which was a Camry and I've read a lot about retrofitting and such. Now back to my question......
Thanks for the suggestion tuan92129 but so far my searches have been empty.
