ES300 Motor Mounts
My sister has a 97 ES300 and it is in the shop. She is already spending about $1700 for repairs(engine seals) and they told her all 5 of the mounts are bad and showed it to her. She is contemplating not getting them fixed as the service rep told her that it would just cause more vibrations. Is this true or are there other issues with not having them replaced?

i'm sure the dealer is gonna charge her an arm and a leg to change out the mounts. Just buy the whole set on ebay for 150-250 and have a independent trust worthy mechanic change them out

If they are in bad condition it will definitely cause vibrations. How many miles does the car have? Cause I havn't heard of a 97 ES changing out motor mounts.
The dealer will overcharge you for just about everything. So if you wanna save a 100-300 bucks buy them yourself either oem or aftermarket and have a trusted shop do it like maniax said...
