Not sure exactly how try out the search tool I'm at work or i would do it for you. It should go in easy since it is basicly the same setup. Oh and almost forgot welcome to CL.

From what I was told by both the Lexus Corporation, and multiple Lexus dealers that they don't advise doing this type of upgrade.
If you decide to attempt it, than I hope you realize that you'll have to change the wiring harness, an add the antenna for the NAV, plus other things. All and all, it's not going to be cheap or easy!
My suggestion is to buy a portable GPS which will save you mucho headaches.

Well after having some time to look around. I have found that amf1932 is right as he has been many times and I am wrong but who's counting. I love the "Mr. Choas" comment I mean idk its kinda a 50/50 shot saying that lol but i'l take Mr. as a complement lol. So on that if you really want to go with a in dash navi. I would go aftermarket the pioneer avic-d3 seems closest to stock and will end up costing less than doing the oem setup. With that you would still need the wiring diagram for the '03 and would need to put a gps "puck" on your dash, you also would need the dash kit now don't quote me on this but the es330 dash looks to be the right size amf1932 might know more on this. Again with this much of the stress of the oem install is involved such as finding the speed sensor wire and making your own harness. Now with a portable unit you will spend less and its worlds easer to install you do still lost some of the "clean look but thats a cost you have to weigh

Just a note:
I'm flying out to Phoenix, AZ tomorrow morning, and then driving to Palm Springs, CA and then to Santa Monica, CA. I'm going to rent a Toyota Camry that doesn't have a Navigation system, so I recently bought a portable Garmin Nuvi 350. I gotta tell you, this unit seems to be as good as the built in NAV system on my ES350, and in fact it does more.......instead of just telling you where to turn, as in the ES, it also announces the name's of the streets, parkways or whatever. I love that, and it's portability. So far it works flawlessly, and I'll report back when I get home, or sooner, since I'm bring my laptop.

P.S. Here's a little movie that shows what the Garmin can do.

The w means wide screen but it looks like they didn't make that in the 350 only in the 250 and 200. Looks like a good unit tho everything but bluetooth.

I really advise against this type of upgrade. It will be very costly and very time-consuming. Just get yourself a good GPS unit like the Garmin nüvi 350/650, or the 360/660 if you need Bluetooth.

^Still if they wanted a better sound setup they would be best just doing it all at once with a avic-d3 or something a few guys here have them in their es's

That's also an excellent option, although a little more expensive and a little more involved. This would be my first choice if possible, however.

^Yea if they were planning on doing the OEM install they were already looking at more than the cost of the avic-d3 and way more than a portable.

i was debating this myself. i went to best buy to get an avic d3 and the installer was like i cant do anything with that setup. he told me i would have to go to a custom spot to get it installed. i thought about it for a couple of weeks and last week i decided to get a garmin nuvi 200. and it was on sale
