New bulbs always bring new life to headlamps when things are going dim. Good choice on the silverstars.
Do not go PNP without Xenon reflectors or a retrofit. You will not get more light output than you already have.

did you get the highbeam bulb and mod it to fit the lowbeam for higher light output?? i always wanted to do that while i was in college and driving the ES at the time. but money was tight as 40bucks for those lights from wal mart was a bit too expensive compare to the amount of food i could pay for.

we got the same bulb, so much better then the stock ones, and a not as good, but decent alternative to HIDs. make sure the lights are balanced, and there is a faint whitish bluish color to them i think you would like

True and False. True, in most cases where beam pattern is poor. False, because HID gives out more Lumens than halogen when you have a good beam pattern in a non HID, also my beam pattern is good on the stock 92 ES projectors.

True, because he has stock halogen reflectors. Your car has stock halogen projectors.
If you go PNP with reflectors, the light is scattered everywhere with no controlled cut off line and the bulb is visible from the side views, which is blinding.

I put in the low beam Sylvania Silverstars last year and they did improve the visibility at night. Not quite the blue/white light I would have liked but not as yellow as the bulbs I had in before. The only problem I've had with them was that they both burnt out in less than a year. At $50 a pair replacing them every year just didn't seem worth it to me.

xenons??
I had Silverstars in my 96 ES, but short life and expensive replacement cost drove me back to stock units. Reliability more important to me than bling.
Where can I get info on low cost xenon stuff? They were $5-600 a few years ago when I first got the Silverstars. What is needed to do it right? Do xenons burn out fast, or are they reliable? Hard to install? thx

i think you shorten the life span of the bulbs by touching it with your fingers. leaving the oil of your fingers on the glass which heats up while the bulbs are on. i read that once on this forum and it makes a lot of sense.. i use rubbing alcohol to clean them first before installing them.
Where are the pics of the new lights?
