Default Recommended tire size for 19" rims

I'll be getting some new wheels soon. Some 19x7.5 42mm offset I believe and I wanted to know which tire size should I go with. Will 225/35/19 be ok? obviously I'd like it not to rub, but I want some rim protection. or should I go 215?
It'll be weeks before I get this rims on, but I wanted to shop around for tires.

SWEET!!!!

Cant wait to see them. I have 19x8.5 and I'm currently running 235/35/19 but I'll be switching to 215/35/19 cuz I want some stretch. But 225s should be cool.

So.......any teaser pictures?

Gonna have to wait another week or so, but there not VIP style like some others are getting on the forum. All I'll say is that there a 5 spoke design
Nonetheless these are a much needed upgrade from what I currently have. What you got Smitty you never shared yet??

Awesome can't wait to see how it looks and 225/35/19's should be fine if you want some protection.

both tires you selected should be fine, just because the widths of your future rims are small. cant wait to see as well. how lowered is your vehicle?
and post pics when you get them.
