lmfao. that was a good one. but yeah, you really should take others inputs into consideration. not that theyre right, or youre right. but lexus is a classy car. why ruin its elegant body lines with some cheap plastic-chrome looking fake rims?
that question is beyond me.

I think chrome looks nice, but I wouldn't rock chrome wheels on an ES.
the style of this recent set of wheels looks nice. very sporty, would look fitting on an IS

Well I say "Rock that chrome". I sport chrome 18" 5 stars for my summer set.
Those 2nd set of rims look like a lot of work to keep clean. One drawback of chrome. They look sweet when they're clean, but high maintenance to keep shiny. You might want to look at a simpler design.

I'd rate the first rim like a 3-4. Kinda ghetto Fab look.
The mesh looks cool 6-7
Theres nothing wrong with some classy or understated chrome rims.
Everyone knows looks wise wheels make the car.
Chrome just looks so nice glistening off the Sun rollin..

Chromes on a Lex can def set the car off. It is not the thought of a chrome wheel itself, but the design which can make or break a look. The first choice looked terrible. The second set, not soo bad. The perfect DESIGN of a wheel, chrome or not, will make or break a look.

^Well said and yes the second is not bad but the first was awful. Oh and on the second set its going to be very hard to keep clean due to its color and amount of spokes.

i liked the first pair because in my town no one has money and people around here spend all of their money on their cars
i like the first set some what because of how much chrome and would be easier to clean
second set i REALLY like cleaning i would probally clean them every 3 days
i usually cleaned my car every 2 days
either washing it at the car wash or by hand an spray waxing
so i never had rims before but do you just get the wheel cleaner an wash the rims every day or what?

the first set is just plain ugly. However, you like them,, rock them. It is your car and you certainly dont need anyone's opinions to spend your money. The comments offered here were given b/c you asked. Yes chrome is easy to clean, however it is also a HIGH MAINTNANCE item. A nice looking chrome riim is just sooo pimp, especially if the design of the rim compliments the car well. You can use the wheel cleaner and spray it on and give it a minute to set and then just spray it off, however,, fanatics like myself will spend the extra time and effort to make sure every spoke, crevice, etc is clean. Also I detail my chromes so that I don't get water spots, etc to set in. As we said, nothing wrong with chrome, just choose a style of rim that will compliment the ES.
