The clunk isn't in my wife's '02 ES either. A DIY would be great just so we truly understand and because it is a common problem.

Hello,
Can anyone shed light on where to get this "intermediate steering shaft" from and any luck on a DIY anywhere?

Please help - new owner diswcovering his 2003 ES300.

The part needs to come from the dealer. I still havent gotten around to doing a DIY yet.

Not sure what other names it goes by...BTW I ended up taking mine to the dealer to get it fixed for around $300.00.
