Hey guys, I have the stock Nakamichi system in my 98 ES, with the 8 inch 2ohm Nakamichi sub. Well the sub finally died.
I found a used JL 10w1-8 (8ohm) sub and a Kicker Impulse 652xi Stereo amp for $35.
I thought about modifying the opening and putting this JL and amp in. Can I install this into my stock Nakamichi system? I dont want to replace the headunit because I really like it. Any help would be great. Thanks

Yes, take it to any audio shop and get a bypass done, or I think there is a DIY thread on here somewhere maybe?
