Smile Fog Light + HID Mod Complete...

First off, I want to thank MASH835 for the fog light mod write-up. If followed correctly, it works perfectly. I tapped into the 12V Outlet fuse so I can run my fog lights totally independent. I also did an HID upgrade about 6 months ago as well.

The contrast between the 3000K and 6000K looks great at night. When you are in the car you can see where the fogs light up the road because of the contrast. The fogs by themselves do a decent job of lighting up the road at night.

I like 6000k lows with 3000k fogs. Nice work. Just try to aim them down a bit so you don't blind people.

Looks good so a PNP kit in the fogs does work I think I'll be adding that to the list.

Thanks!

This mod is really easy to do, if you just take your time with it and make sure all of the wiring is correct.

I don't have any skills working on cars honestly, and it wasn't bad.

I made sure to aim them down a bit more, to be fair to fellow motorists.

Looks really good! Are the headlights a plug and play kit or are they retros?

I used his same writeup
Only thing I hate about aftermarket bulbs is they don't last very long.
Other than that everything looks good

I said that then I went back to 4300k and now I think it's too yellow and ugly. But the output is much better.

Go with 5000k. It's the color of 4300k after they have been used for awhile. They are actually what you see on just about every OEM car out on the road more than a year old. No noticeable yellow. All you see it crisp white light with a hint of blue. If you buy 4300k, eventually they will degress in color to 5000k, and so on and so on, but why wait.

Phillips 85122+

It's what I have on my car now.
