factory HIDs Question

You know, I do have a spare set of 2nd Gen headlamps. Maybe if I get some spare time i'll see about doing a retro and offering them for sale.

Only hard part would be setting up the initial aiming, since I dont have a 2nd gen to mount them on. Unless I build a jig to mount the lights, then just line them up to the original position.

woah can you say thread jacked lol j/ks but yeah thanks JSM1284 i will definatly try that heres a pic of my cutoff line tell me what you guys think,

ps. we just had a real big storm out here so i will get some better pics that are further away and in a better location but for now heres my crappy camera-phone pics

You don't need the car for the first initial aiming.

Sorry Happy. Your beams do look a little off from each other. Are both Auto-leveling motors properly functioning?

yes the motors work fine, when the car is turned on they both go down and then rise back up (beams), and always level out when im on an slope, im going to try what u suggested above but it sounds very complicated

All you need to do is use the adjuster to either raise your left beam, or lower your right.

yea we had about a foot of snow fall in less than 24 hours


and any idea if i need a special tool to adjust them? thanks

^^ you're manual tells you how to and which position adjusts up/down & side/side.
