Default Tire Rotation

I just recently got a tire rotation around a month ago.

I have non- directional stock Turanza tires and he rotated them in an X.
Just wondering if this is the way to do it?

Ther other question is when he balanced them one of them cam up 0.5 and he told me you dont need to worry unless it is at 1? it this correct?

The front two were 0.0 and one of the ones going to the back came out 0.5 and he said it doesnt even matter in the back. Is this true?

And one of the ones going into the back he didnt even check for me because he did a visual inspection and said it was going to be fine...

Does 0.5 make the car drive weird in any way? the car sure doesnt feel the same after the rotation. Probably because I rotated them after 15k miles. The front tires look quite new compared to the back ones which is sorta worn out on the sides.

help me out. thank you

X is acceptable for rotation.

He should have put a weight on the tire, but you wont notice any vibration until that tire is rotated back to the front.

Maybe you should get an alignment, that could be the cause of the edge wear on the tires that were on the front.

Or underinflation. Why would the guy not put a weight on if its out? Thats really half-assed.
