Bought a 1993 Es300
just got it three days ago.
Plus side to it is its comfortable, so far good gas mileage, and its got a sunroof (something ive always wanted) im only 19 so im riding in class.
Now the downfall im having. the seats are torn (doesnt bother me im saving to get them reupholstered).. But my main problem is a loose ignition!!! OMG.. i have no clue what to do about thay since it is a laser cut key and yeah.. im uber newb to owning a lexus so any help on what i could do to fix/replace this problem would be super helpful. it does start but i have to fool around with the key in the ignition for a long time sometimes and money isnt an issue with me when it comes to my car.
So please any help would be awesome and any advice on gas, oil, or anything would be extra helpful...
P.S anyone know of a good sunroof replacement for the window this one has a slight crack in it and if it worsens i want to replace it. so let me know guys.

You've bought yourself a very classy and well built car...not that you haven't already realized that.
An ignition problem is not something I would want to tinker with, so since money is no object for you when it comes to pampering your new baby, I would have a Lexus dealership (or an independent Lexus or Toyota technician) take a look at it.
There is all sorts of good advice in this forum, so get familiar with the search tool and you'll usually find answers to just about any Lexus related issue.
How about posting some pics of your sexy new ride? We do LOVE to see pics! In fact, it should be a new CL rule that new members MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST THREE PICS in their first post or be BANNED FOR LIFE!

Im new too and looks like this is pretty good place! I agree with guys about pictures, I think when u introduce your self u got to post some pictures of your ride. I agree, that must be a rule!

okay okay.. since you guys are wanting pics first thing tommorow when i get my girlfriends camera i will take some pictures. but i do love the whip (HAHA) its a smooth ride. but that darn ignition is giving me hell.
But it is worth it, i love this car im buying Penguin seat covers and a penguin stearing wheel cover. ill try and get some before and after pictures of the work i plan on doing(washing the car and such). so i will be able to take my car to a toyota mechanic, if im unable to find a lexus dealer (amarilo texas).
But if i post pics up of my car.. then i request a picture from each of you so i can see how much of a BAMF your car is. but i do plan on doing lots of work to it.
