it all depends on the offset of the wheels.

I've got 19x8.5 rims with a +45 offset all around. I ended up having to put 15mm spacers in the rear because the rim pushed up against the strut bar.

I don't see why 19x8 shouldn't work . . worst comes to worst you'll need to throw in a few spacers

^Where did you find 15mm spacers I need them my 12mm still rub a lil. Oh and if you do that then in order to keep it safe you need longer studs which is a pita.

Woops. . . forgot to mention that I did put in longer studs which only took the shop 20 minutes to do and ran me $20 (wasn't really a pita at all)

I got the 15mm hubcentric spacers off ebay, the longer studs came included. I think they're made by Ichiba ?

i dont think they make hubcentric spacers. spacers yes. hubcentric rings yes.

sash- you have a rear strut bar? i think you mean strut/shocks?

you can use spacers, but ive personally never been a fan of spacers. some run with them all day. i personally dont trust them.

Exactly the ones I bought.

My rim was pushed up against the bar/arm of the strut resulting in the car not being able to move.

I was standing there watching him do it.

From what I remember he hammered out the old studs then put in the new ones, wasn't hard at all.

new studs are very easy. its not difficult, if you use your imagination you should be able to pull out old ones and get new ones in.

Thats what we did you just needed top have strong arms (which I do not) and have to take the brakes off. Anyways have you seen just the 15mm spacer without the longer studs.

You think 15mm spacers are going to work without longer studs?

I originally tried seeing if the car would move with 5mm spacers and I hardly had any tread left for the lugnut . .

just get the adapter ones from 5*114.3 to 5*114.3. because they are adapters it should have the new studs in it already.
and strong arms wont loosen any studs. its the right tools, or tools if you use your imagination like i said.

ie, use a deep socket 19mm socket and a c-clamp for removal. for reinstall use an open end lug nut. simple.
