My factory exhaust tip was pretty trashed so i decided to go the a muffler shop and have them weld a new one on. I originally wanted one just like stock but they didnt have one so i just got some simple single dauls. Well long story short is they hang way below the bumper and i hate it. Is there any way they can add an upward facing piece of pipe to it like the stock one had or could they shorten the hangers?

Yeah i guess ill go back and see what they can do about it. They'll prolly charge me but oh well i want it to look good. I already payed them 90 bucks to do it in the first place which in my mind is too much so hopefully they'l be able to do something.

Go back and see if they can shorten the hangar bars but do not agree to pay anymore money. If they will not do it over, go somewhere else that is cheaper.

How much were the tips? $90 sounds like too much for parts and labor to an unsatisfied customer. Don't let your age dictate how they treat you. Your money is just as good as the next guy.

They should do it free of charge since they already over charged....

dude go there and compain and just say your dad thinks that the price is too high and that they need to redo it the way you want
mentioning your dad will probally be different since your young like i am and people try to take advantage until i mention ... well my dad said this an that

haha yeah thats not a bad idea....i dunno how much i even trust that shop when i got back in my car my stereo was way up and the bass seemed like they put it up too.

wow i dont like alot of mechanics because of that crap man.. alot of them are dirtbags who try to scam young kids

i would but i dont have any money id have to sell my lexus to get something new. I was lookin at this but i dunno the lack of a backseat is kinda impractical. Its a great deal though.

hmm, they really should fix that no charge, maybe if you went to a place that your friends go to or maybe they know, just an idea, but when you go to a place of a friends or a place of your friends, they usually do a better job and did someone steal your lexus emblem or something? jw

No its just my half assed debadge job. I wanted it all off but then realized i still want the lexus and ES300 logo. Just never put it back on kuz i wanna paint them black pearl until i get money to but real pearl or chrome ones.

9k is ALOT of money for a tuner/project car that only has a intake and flip up screen and air ride.
air ride is expensive but doesnt add up to 9 k with stock car price
