fyi, you do not mark the position of anything
also you do not forget or have to do anything special with center bolt. just tighten it well to 36 lb ft . its a nylon nut so it doesn't back out normally, from vibration. following the fsm.

important tip:: do not try to remove the back shelf completely nor take off those black side pieces that go from roof to the shelf. what a nightmare. it was unncessary, my mistake, learn from it. i never took the back shelf off, only pulled the four trim clips to make it possible to lift it up a little

My OEM spring is larger in diameter than the KYB spring seat. Is there a way to remove the KYB spring seat? It looks like its welded in place. I was able to remove the OEM spring seat.
