Anyone Know The Offset On These?
Im plannin on buyin these wheels for my ES and i was wondering if anyone knew what the offset was and if they will fit. All the info i kno is they are american racing brand and the tires are 225/40/18. I know there not the nicest rims but im gettin them dirt cheap (200 with tires). I will eventually upgrade and make them my winter wheels.

thanks
as for rims:
17*8 - 17 is diameter of wheel in inches, 8 is width of wheel in inches
4.5 - usually means its 5*4.5 or also commonly seen as 5*114.3mm = 5 means number of bolts, 4.5(114.3) is distance between bolts
et - offset = distance of hub contact of wheel.
lower offset(negatives) usually mean backspacing is smaller, therefore, front spacing is larger(larger lips), meaning that it will push the wheels outside of the car.
higher offset(positive) means backspacing is larger, therefore, front spacing is smaller(smaller lips), meaning that your wheels will be pushed into the wheel well.

btw, max size etc, really depends on the amount of knowledge you have about suspension and wheel setups.
im working on a project 2nd gen es, and i plan to fit 18*10 -26et wheels. that simply means really large lips. but for you, id say go with 18*8 since you dont know what youre doing. i would suggest not going with the setup im going for, most wont know how to do it on stock body. so it kinda boils down to the amount of knowledge you have for suspension and wheels

pcd for our car is 5*114.3 or 5*4.5. its not specifically the lugs or the distance, but a combination.
oh i also forgot, there is bore design as well. but most dont get too into it because wheels now a days have tapered lugnut seats which require tapered lugnuts, which means that now the wheels are lugcentric, no more hubcentric.

wahhh u got tein coilovers for 150? or are you talking about the springs?
anyways... so would 18x9 +37 fit? but the offset is positive and was wondering if its too big cuz u mention that positive offset will interfer with the wheel wells.
9width is little too big isn't =0
