Default Largest wheel on ES250

What is the largest wheel that can be fitted on a '91 ES250? I'm particularly concerned about the front wheels rubbing during turns, or contact with the strut. Stock size is 15", but they are difficult to find nowadays.

More specifically, we are looking for OEM wheels, which will fit best? IS? GS?

probably a set of 17s. we had a set on the 89 camry (pretty much the same thing) before it got hit and they rubbed just the slightest. we'll put em on the 250 one of these days, but the tires were shot.

You might even be able to fit some 18s if you put some spacers in. Nonetheless I have some OEM ones of mine if you want to buy them.

yeah, id probably say 17's to be safe. but i doubt any of the lexus wheels you mentioned would fit, because for they are meant for rwd, where as your car is fwd, and many others have reported using spacers for the 2nd and 3rd gen. and by the looks, 2nd and 3rd gen have more wheel well clearance than your firstgen es. but thats just my educated guess. i dont own a es250 so i couldnt be 100% positive on this

goodluck

I did take a look the other day and it seems even on stock size 195/55 R15, the tire is still very close to the strut.

Also, does anyone know the stock offset?
