Question ATE 'Super Blue' Brake Fluid?

Anyone use this stuff in their ES300/ES330? I've heard it's awesome stuff & not very expensive.

I'll stick to the OEM brake fluid. I never had any problems using this in all my Lexus's since 1991!

I was going to get it on a previous brake fluid change but nobody commented when asked about that particular product so I ended up getting some other brake fluid.

Thank you Lexmex!

It's quite popular with the Subaru crowd....and yes, it's fantastic stuff. Was just wondering how many Lexus owners use it.....not too many it would appear lol.

Sorry for the only-tangentially-topical, but what Subaru crowds/boards are you on?

Just wondering...one of my other rides is a Legacy GT and I spend time on the LegacyGT forum. Wondering if you were a member there as well.

I'll have to try the Super Blue on the Leggy next time.

I used ATE blue on my 2000 Windom for about 1 1/2 year. This is great stuff and I use it on all other cars I have.

Primarily because it's synthetic and has a much higher boiling point than OEM (combating brake fade and brake failure under heavy use). Also better properties for resisting moisture. Does not last as long as OEM though.

Many GS folks use it (I do). It comes in two colors blue and gold so you can alternate when you flush and know when you're getting the new fluid.

Search the 2nd gen GS forum for 'super blue' for several threads on it, along with discussion of alternatives like Motul and other brands.

Well said Dave,

They say it's good for 3 years under normal (non track/racing) use. How often do you change it?
