do you have check engine light or did you just sense it?

no check engine light. When I press the overdrive button nothing happens and indicator light does not light up

When you drive, do you notice anything different, in other words when did you first notice you didn't have overdrive?

hmmm just got home (5:27 am here )and tried pressing the button on and off..there seems to be a difference, but I need to do more driving to truly give a more reliable report. you think the overdrive bulb is just busted?

by the way , does this 1992 model have a cabin air filter? in case it has one, how do I replace it?

Nope it doesn't. They didn't have them until 99', had the space for one since 97'. The light could be burned out thats possible, is it running at lower rpm's at a steady crusising speed when the button is pressed in?

You will need 4 quarts.....it should take about 3.5 for the drain & fill give or take.

The Amsoil ATF also is fantastic stuff for the power steering fluid (which takes ATF). The easiest way to switch out the old power steering fluid is to get an empty spray bottle & put the hose in the reservoir & pump out the old stuff. It takes about 1/3 - 1/2 of a quart.....so you might want to get a total of 5 bottles.

I also bet that if you contact Amsoil directly, you will be able to find a distributor closer than you think & not have to order directly from the U.S.

the button won't press in. Touches like a doorbell. you press and it just goes back to it'soriginal position.

for the meantime I poured in toyota type VI.Runs well. and a lot cheaper. But i'll get in touch with amsoil
