when i have the ac running or the defroster, it triggers the trac off light.

i had a problem previously with a wheel sensor but that issue has been fixed.

there is no cel when this occurs. when i shut the car off the trac off goes away.

when the ac is off there are no lights.

is there a sensor that goes bad n the ac system?

 

Sounds like a potential wiring short possibly in the fuse panel or fusable links. I remember a story about a guy who would have his heated seat turn on when the AC was on in his Qx4. It required all new wiring lumes and harnesses. This is an expensive dealer warrenty issue, have it taken in.

 

i guess anything is possible. the ac and defroster work perfectly and so far havent left me without it.

since it doesnt throw a code and doesnt affect the inspection it doesnt bother me that much, but it does a little. since the car has 116k, it doesnt matter as much
