My idiot light goes on and off at about 3 gallons left or so, but at that point the gauge is already bottomed out. Ive never gotten 400 miles to a tank; the most ive gotten was 380 all highway cruising, 5th gear at 70. (Which is almost 3000 rpm) And thats with a 100% happy engine. i.e. no weight in the car, o2 sensors functional, tuned-up, tire pressure bla bla bla. Im sure its possible but my car cant do it. 1mz's are a little more fuel efficient than 3vz's are. They are lighter and not spinning a distributor.

92, one other huge gigantic difference between your '92 es300 and a 94 through 96 .... you definitely have a 5 speed manual, and they definetely do not

Wait so do you mean my mileage should be better than an auto or worse? I think it should be a bit better no? What kind of mileage do you get w/ your stick? My last fill up I got 315 miles@19.3 mpg.

i get between 20 and 25.5

i speed all the time. typically i will drive at 80-85 when on the highway. i usually drive 5-15 over the speed limit. there is a back road i take to go home, i usually drive it like i stole it. i have a 90 degree corner that i take at 40-45 mph, i have fun on the back roads.

i have tried 87 and 89 octane and no real difference in mileage

A manual Transmission typical gets better gas mileage than an Automatic, This is due to the fact that there is no slipping in a clutch, As opposed to constant slipping of a Torque Converter.

so what do I need to check to see if I got every single drop of gas for miles? I just cleaned the IAC not too long ago, new denzos sparks in, new spark plug wires from toyota in, new intake air filter, new oil change....... anything else to look for?

I don't think any hose or any parts to the gas line is leaking. Is it just the car itself that cannot get over 310 miles?
