Will A 1.6"drop Be Too Much On A 96 Es300 W/18" Is350 Wheels?

yeah camber plates are adustable so you could camber your wheels in if needed to clear fender.

Ya see my problem is that the strut hits the rim a lil bit on bumps and i ws hoping i could move the strut like 3mm away from the rim.

since your strut would be hooked to your camber plates. that should fix your problem.

I don't know the offsets of the IS wheels but I'd say a 225 or even 215 to be safe. Yes, shaving means grinding or cutting off the inner lip of the fender. Lexus fenders are very thick and hard to roll without messing things up.

^I don't have mine rolled/shaved and it doesn't rub on the fender. Now if you do go that route I would undercoat the area so you don't rust where you shaved it. Now I have 225's all around on mine they are the closest to stock height and the tires in the rear still look kinda small on the rim (width wise). Now changing a chamber plate what does that entail?

you just hace to find some camber plates that are made for your year and make. TEIN maybe? your strut would attach to the plate via a strut nut. idk my jic are all built together on the 240.
