I would do a retrofit for someone for under $650, headlights included.

Just click my sig for a peek at what to expect.

^Really will you attempt a Bi-Xenon setup with working HID high beams?

All the possibilities. I was thinkin of dual low beams (2 on each side) and 1 bi-xenon...on each side too of course.

^Do you mean for retrofitting? I'd assume the answer to that question is yes. If you want good performance with one of the easiest installs, you would probably want to go with the Acura TSX projectors. Their pricing is not cheap most of the time but not expensive either.

One of the best performing out of all the known projectors is the Honda S2K projector. It has a POWERFUL beam but it is hard to retrofit and is pretty expensive.

For more information, you should check out www.hidplanet.com. That's the best place to go and learn about HID and retrofitting. There is a LOT of information and since I stopped visiting so much, there are a LOT of members.

Good luck.

s2k is probably the best from what ive heard. but rather expensive. tsx, and tl are a good choice. many options, and fairly intense beam patterns.

Yea the TL is Bi-Xenon as well if you want to try to make it fit.

^Yeah, that's the catch. lol. Making it fit!

S2K is not far ahead of EVERY other projector. It has a few rivals with comparable output. Can't think of the other top projectors off the top of my head but one of them is the SC430 projector if I'm not mistaken.

You only need the projectors so it would be the first link. Buying both whole headlights just complicates things and usually costs more money.

Have you been to HIDPlanet.com/forums yet? If not, you should go there as soon as you can and check out the "University" section. Good stuff there for HID newbs. This is the direct link to the University section but you can only access it after you register.

I bought my projectors for a total of $98 as whole headlight assemblies, (including shipping). This gave me the oven-bake practice I needed to get my method done pact before I attempted my own headlights being taken apart. If you are patient, good deals can be found. Anything over $120 for TSX projectors is too much.

^I'll take him at his word. I haven't really looked at the market price of TSX's in a while. When I did my retro, they were marked at about $200 but they have obviously dropped in value since they became so common.
