Default How Much Clearence Do I Need?

How much clearance should there be between the brake caliper and the wheel? Its really close on my front wheels with these 18s i got. Like i prolly could only slide a piece of paper between the spoke and caliper.

If they clear they clear. There should not be any flex once they are properly bolted on. I would say put them on, drive SLOWLY around the neighborhood to confirm they clear. If that shows good, I would say you are good to go.

yes, if its a hair or a smidgeon away. youre fine. but one thing to consider, are your pads new when you mounted these new wheels? if not, then you must reconsider your options here.

so did you install new pads when you changed your wheels? if not, then youre going to eventually need to change pads.
