Sorry to highjack the thread. But since mine are probably going to need to be changed out I wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with the JIC coilovers.

I was thinkin, why not put in some coilovers if ima change it out anyway. So yeah, just asking.

Just got mine out of the shop today and it cost $780. It had the exact same problems...

Well, finally managed to get an appointment with my mechanic. I'm having the work done this Friday.

Well, got my car back from the mechanic yesterday and all I can say is WOW!

Finally after many many months of putting up with the rattle/bump noise I am very happy to say IT HAS GONE!

My mechanic confirmed that my struts were definately buggered. He couldn't really tell about the old strut mounts but I definately believe that they had a part to play in the noise also.

The ride with all the new parts is faultless. Super smooth and very comfortable - just how a Lexus should be.
