I was wondering if the navigation system can be replaced with double DIN radio. I have Garmin Nuvi that I prefer to the factory nav and was hoping to just replace the whole thing with a double din receiver. Can anyone tell me if the Nav system is double DIN. It looks like it is but I want to be sure before proceeding.
Thanks,
Jason

It is double din but there will be gaps on both sides of whatever aftermarket nav/radio you put in. You will have to buy a few extra factory parts to make it fit properly plus you will have to bypass the stock amp which means you will have a LOT of wiring to do. It's not impossible as I have now accomplished this task and even added aftermarket speakers and an amp.
Unfortunately, it is a LOT of work.
