Considering the DRL bulb is the high beam highlight bulb, You cant put in a LED. DRL's are made to be dim, It is just the Highbeam running at half voltage. If you want them brighter, Just drive with your high beams on during the day.

See I was wondering the same thing I've been hunting HI/LO for something to replace the DRL bulb but no one told me it was the High beam bulb running at half voltage. Someone told me it was an H3 bulb I was looking for but this is not true then. So yeah there are no leds for the 9005 so we'll have to live with that ugly yellowish color now that sucks. Hmm now if that's the case maybe I should change it to a yellow bulb to match my fogs. There's a thought. Cause I rarely use my high beams especially since I live in Hawaii. Especially if I change to HID on the low beams I'm already going to do my fogs soon just have to make time to do it. Does anyone know if there's a diy to hook up HIDs to your fogs. I don't recall seeing one when I did a search on how to remove our fogslights.

I just upgraded my 04 es330 to LED DRL'S. High beams work not bright but with hid's who needs them) as well as everything else as no problems. Will post pics. Had to transpose some wires. But 9005 led 17 light. Looks like 8000k hid drl's.
