Pictures from a photoshoot this weekend
This weekend me and my friends spent a few hours detailing every inch of our cars and grabbed a high quality camera. I picked some of the best pictures for everyone's eyes because I know how much you love em.

And here's a few pics of the my friend's cars.
Still working out some kinks with the tranny... but all in all I love this Lexus and I wouldn't give it up for anything.

mad clean badviper! You did a much better job on the JDM grille than me!
Only thing that bothers me in the pinstripe, i think it'll look 10x cleaner without it
BTW, his car is definitely dark green not black

Haha yup, sorry guys, it's green.
I'm with you on the pinstripe Maniax, I went to go add a silver CL sticker that matched the trim perfectly and the gold pinstripe just threw it off, ew. If I could remove it safely (which I'm sure there's a method) I would.
Slooooooow, It really feels like the perfect time of year to make sure our rides look their best. And nothing cleans up quite like an ES. (And these second gens just look sexy, gotta give a hand to Lexus.)

Your ES looks awesome BV22 !!
How'd you get your rims so spotless??? I worked on mine for 2 hours last weekend, and although they turned out pretty good, they still don't look as immaculate as yours....what's your secret??
I especially like this shot
It kinda reminds me of waking up from a dream, seeing that beautiful car, and realizing you must be in heaven....

Finally the secret to easy rim cleaning is revealed:
And I agree 100% with what you said about waking up from a dream, these cars just seem unrealistic some days!

oh yeah - A trick that i've used for the stubborn baked on brake dust is oven cleaner. Just becareful to not get too much on the rubber, I was told by an engineer that it might eat it. I didn't test it so I just took his word for it and cover up the tires with some old rags while I was spraying it. Leave it on for a couple of minutes and clean as you normally would.
