She looks really nice and clean! Have you checked car fax? Maintenance history from lex dealer? If not then check those out first. If everything is on the up and up then do it!

Welcome to CL! If the car didn't come with a manual, I believe you can request one for free from lexus.com!

oh and some of the reasons why 2nd gen > 3rd gen:

1. Available in manual transmission
2. Projector Headlights
3. The 3vz-fe engine is unaffected by the common engine sludge problem.

Otherwise, the 3rd gen is a much nicer car overall

You can visit www.lexus.com and register there and order an owners manual. I just got mine a couple days ago

I've done Carfax and Experian auto check. You said I could find out if it was serviced by Lexus through Lexus? Other than doing it through Carfax info how is this done?

I fly out to Pennsylvania and the salesman is picking me up. Then I drive it to a reputable(So I've heard) garage where they'll do an hour long inspection of the car. If everything checks out a o k. I'm done and into a sweet ride.

I probably should have the windows tinted, huh? What did you do to your exhaust to change it?

How much does a drop affect the smooth drive of this car? I'm not so sure about all that type of stuff. I wouldn't even know where to begin if I wanted to do it. I don't want it to look....you know...."ghetto"..no offense meant, but you know what I mean.

Classy and cool is good. If a "drop" would help that then I'm all for it if it doesn't cost a lot.

????????

Sorry i was referring to the 92-93's. The 94-96 are the ones with the 1mz-fe.

Well if you go with aftermarket springs, your ride is most likely going to suffer. I'm running Eibach springs/OEM shocks and the ride is not so lexus-like...

I hear good things about Tein coilovers, how it gives such a good ride and incredible handling but they'll cost you well over $1000
