Well, Here is the second mod to my new 05, Besides the clear bumper lamps. Black Pearl Emblem on the hood....

looks amazing JSM! How about the es330 and Lexus emblems? Also, how did you take it off? Does it have pins or it's normal stick-off and stick-on?

Its got pins. But the Black pearl kit that I got was for an older ES300, So I had to cut the pins off because they didnt line up. So for now I just did the "L" logos. I will have the "ES300" emblem in black pearl left over, since mine is an ES330, if someone wants to start making bids on it......

I see. I like the gold emblems on my car, but I want to put a new es330 emblem because the gold has rubbed off on one of the 3s. Can you walk me through changing it one day? No hurry, I know you are busy with the black pearl :-) I can buy one off ebay really cheap.

Right there with ya, LexGrl702! I've never understood the anti-gold-emblem-sentiment on this board. *lol* I know there are a few of us who still like 'em and brandish them boldly and proudly (on my green SC; don't have it on my ES)!

After this thread, JSM's definitely got me thinking about going with black pearl emblems on my ES after a repaint.
