Default BEST PLACE FOR RIM AND TIRES? Price WISE!!

I'm looking to put some decent rims$125 a piece on some 18" tires. Anyone know of a good place to buy them from? I'm looking for the best price and will only be using the tires in the summer. In the winter I'll switch back to factory tires and rims.

Thanks in advance for the help!

if you aren't in a rush try your local classifieds or craigslist. just make sure you dont get ripped off, make sure the rims will fit, and if possible get them checked to make sure none are bent.

just the tires alone, new, vary from 90ish and up, depending on the brand and tire size.

Stupid question.........

I could get ANY 18" rim to fit my car? I just need the correct tire to fit them, right? I'm thinking about putting the RX330 18" rims on the car.

Sound ok?

THanks

The right bolt pattern? What does this mean? This isn't my area of specialty as you can see.

some cars have 5 bolts on the hub or 4 bolts. the spacing between these bolts varies from car to car. so not all 18in wheels will fit. Lextasy.com has some oem lexus wheels and they will list if they fit ur car or not. try tirerack.com if ur looking for some cheap aftermarkets. if ur not sure about fitment ask someone cus you dont wanna spend 800-1200k on wheels that dont fit

Default Yep!

Those are super nice looking. Now I need to find a tire that has decent tread wear that won't break the bank. I'm looking to spend about 100 bucks a tire.

Suggestions?

Too bad you sold that car. Someone was happy though.

Try tire rack for tires their pricing is very competitive. You can get some all season Kuhmo tires for around $80-$90

Not just any wheel will fit even if it is 5x114.Dont forget about offsets. If you have a high number it might not clear the inner stuff.

Try a local tire shop, unless you can get a deal on shipping from tirerack. Personally, we have a used tire shop in town that carries low-pro and oversize tires. They are cool, i've gotten a set of 4 bridgestone potenzas still with knobbys on them for 150 bucks mounted and balanced.

Cool

I got a great deal from PerformancePlusTire.com, based on a recommendation from RedPhoenix over in the SC forum. Details of my purchase.

I did have to have the tires rebalanced once I got them. No biggie - just FYI
