Wheel opinion poll: Which OE 17" wheel should I choose?
Thought I'd ask members what their opinion was as to which Lexus OE 17" alloy I should choose for my 2005 ES 330... Kindly vote for your choice. First pic is the GS wheel.....second is the ES 350 wheel. If you have another suggestion in a 17" OE wheel, please let me know.

The es350 look like they came stock on that car.Personally i would say the gs wheels instead BUT im way more of a fan of sc430 wheels!
Someone post a pic of their es300 on sc430 wheels please.

I agree with AlleyKat. IF you are choosing between those two wheels, I'd go with the gs wheels. But personally I like the IS wheels too. I have the 05 ES330 too in blue onyx and I still haven't found a wheel that I love. I say don't settle and keep shopping.

IMHO:
"Fat kid on skinny legs" look (as mentioned by another member in another related thread)
This looks so stock that I wonder if it's worth the expense.
Look at how non-flush the wheels/tires are with the body with both sets. Forgive me, I'm not trying to distract here. What kind of look are you going for? What do the current stock wheels look like? I'm just really wondering if the Lexus wheels will take you to the next level for the money. Bang for the buck kinda thing.
If I had a gen 4, I'd want something pretty substantial down there to draw the eye down to the wheels; to make the wheels look more like the base of the car, than the stilts it's balanced on. Does that make any sense?

The stock wheels look like this (see below)...so the ES 350 wheels have one more spoke & those spokes are actually slightly curved compared to the one's I have now.....I know, big deal....but I don't mind em (I'm getting the car tinted as we speak so It that too will change the overall appearance as well).
I'm not trying to do anything fancy, but I insist on 17" OE Lexus alloys....not 18's or aftermarket.....although their is a sweet set of 18" LS 460 wheels I like that would look awesome....but the tires would be astronomical in price for what I want.
What style IS wheels should I consider?

LOL Slooooooow..."fat kid on skinny legs" too funny. I must say though I like the stock 17's of the 05 es330. One more spoke from the 350 wheels will not make any difference. LS460 wheels won't fit our year. I say have someone photoshop the IS 350 wheels and see what it looks like, besides you can use the 18s for the summer and use your stock 17s for the winter. I am considering those myself, so I am very curious to see what they would look like.
