unfortunately mine is plastic but yea... i was super lucky ans pep boys had one the fit lexus gmc and some other one... worked perfect.

my intake is right behind my fog light. if you have all the fenderlinings in you should not have any problems. I drive mine in colorado weather where after it snows there are massive puddles of water, and i still have not had any problems. But if you are really worried about hydrolocking get the aem bypass valve.

an intake isnt really much of a performace mod or at least on the es. the only difference i notice between cai and sri was a change in tone. but hypothetically it should be better because im no longer pulling in warm air from the motor. Either way, it gives the es a little more ***** every time i gun it or at least makes it sound like it does. I sound kind of like a ricer saying that. haha

in performance wise theres not much of difference between sr n cai. just CAI breaths colder air which gives better gas mileage.

haha well i did beat my friends brand new Pontiac 6g with atleast 30+ hp then the es and its a 3.5! plus i have subs and bigger rims (rims wont do much only wen u get to the 19+ range..)

well i did it and omg was it hard.... not only was it hard...

it was 5 times worse then ne thing....

so i went back to the short ram set up...
