ok... well first off it made the car exxtra sluggish.. most wen i got up to high rpms like 5-6 took like maybe 5 sec. to get from 5 to 6 then a hard gear change.
i was like WTF?! theirs deff something wrong..
btw i put it in to places...
one is where es bl155 had it.
then just for kicks right where the blinker is sticking out without the blinker on....
the second way made some of the sluggishness goo away but the damn super hard gear change was there...
idk i still have the stuff to go back to CAI but i kinda like the londness of short ram...

finally got my intake today.
i had few problems while installing the intake.
first i noticed there are 3 hoses connected to stock intake 2 big and 1 is a small one. sw intake had 3 big ones. so i cut some big one n connected to the small one. (would i have a problem with this?)
2nd problem i had was. my AMF sensor didnt fit so i had to cut off the corner.
anyways check out the pictures.

I can tell you that ram air setup isn't going to do a whole lot considering how convoluted the piping is. You may want to try it both ways (ram air and ram airless) to see how the power/mpg/sound change.

Lawlz @ two things.
Flex pipe... you might as well get rid of that because it's stiff sucking the majority of it's air from the filter itself.
Crankcase breather... Unless you have emissions control (which we don't in Florida) just remove the hose, put a breather filter on the engine side, and block the intake side.
Besides that it looks very top notch, enjoy!

after this mod
i got a Check engine light. P0171 code : Bank1 Sensor lean
is it because i have the crank hose connected?
happened 2 days ago at night so i clear it today morning and didnt come back til tonight. maybe cause of cold air?

maybe it's just a coincidence that it's happened both times at night. It might be due to the fact you finish the drive cycle at night...I don't know anything about that particular code though.

i'll post what i did tomorrow.

That P0171 is common to my air intake modifications on my RX300. I actually had to pull the lower air intake that goes by my bumper, because I was throwing in an ENORMOUS amount of air, something I would only see maybe once a week at altitude back in Mexico City, but I will redesign my intake in the near future.
I always keep a portable Actron OBDII scanner handy to reset any code.

Think I am going to order my Weapon-R in the next couple of days. Does anyone have a step-by-step walkthrough of the install? From what I've heard its a simple job, but I don't want to mess anything up.

I was going to buy a Weapon R but went with a intake made by a company called cosmo racing. Alot cheaper and great quality. I should have it by the 8th
